uv bed tanning industry feels the heat in los angeles and all over the world.
“I think selling UV tans will be illegal pretty soon,” said Bruce Le, owner of Tan Diego in Clairemont. “I blame it on everything that’s going on — the economy, the tanning tax and the dermatologists who are bashing the industry. It’s driving even some loyal customers away.”
A spray tan can provide some color without exposing a person to the risk of Melanoma (skin cancer).
Some Questions You Might Have about Artist applied spray tans:
Q1: How long is this process going to take?
A1: Although there are many preparation steps to this tanning process, once you come into the salon, it should only take about 15 minutes to complete your spray session. If you are new to this process, give yourself and extra couple minutes to make sure your bronzer has dried before getting dressed again.
Q2: How long will my tan last?
A2: Usually your spray will last anywhere from 5-7 days but if you decide to use a tan extender and proper moisturizer that you apply twice daily, it will last anywhere from 7-10 days! Check out our Gloe spray to replace your daily lotion – this one of my favorites.
